Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Becomes First in the Gulf Region to Offer Advanced Laser Therapy for Epilepsy and Brain Tumors
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is the first center in the Gulf Region to perform Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT) for patients with epilepsy or certain types of brain tumors. The minimally invasive, MRI-guided laser procedure offers targeted treatment with reduced surgical exposure, less tissue disruption, and quicker recovery compared to traditional open brain surgery. The procedure is supported by advanced surgical robotics and the latest navigation software for improved precision and treatment accuracy.
