Our Sustainability Framework

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s approach to sustainability is anchored in the following key pillars, each reflecting our commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and exceptional patient care.

Governance and Performance

We recognize that we have a responsibility at both the macro and microeconomic level in the area in

which we operate. By maintaining a robust and ethical value chain, we aim to generate positive economic, social, and environmental impacts, aligning with global sustainability standards and the Abu Dhabi Environment Vision 2030.

• 3,640 training hours enhanced our caregivers’ skills and performance
• 10,000+ participants in community actions and awareness events

Environment

We are committed to environmental stewardship and demonstrate that commitment through carbon

footprint management, waste reduction, water efficiency, and green buildings.

Key highlights:

• LEED GOLD certification for the main hospital and the Fatima bint Mubarak Center
• 5.3% decrease in energy consumption per patient day
• 335,800 kWh utilized from renewable sources
