21Dr. Iqbal Mohamed Binoj, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Binoj served for seven years as a hospitalist under Cogent Healthcare, the largest hospitalist group in the US and a designated regional stroke cetner, providing specialized care at Genesis Medical Center, Quad Cities, a 500-bed tertiary level cardiovascular disease referral center for the Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois regions.
Dr. Binoj graduated from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in India with a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 1999. He then pursued Internship training at King Khalid University Hospital in Riyadh, KSA.
In 2014, he received his Diploma as a Fellow of Hospital Medicine in recognition of his services in the field of Hospital Medicine.
During his time in the Quad Cities, he also served as Secretary of the Islamic Center, as well as being the PTA president of the Dar Al Huda School providing services and support to the Muslim community of the Quad Cities.
Dr. Binoj's interests include geopolitical affairs, football and music. He spends his free time pursuing Islamic studies. As a father of two daughters, he devotes time to his children's afterschool activities and Islamic education.
