Dr. Fatin Sammour

Dr. Fatin Sammour, BM, is a Staff Physician within the Hematology & Blood Cancer Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Cancer Institute.

Dr. Sammour is a hematology specialist who brings extensive clinical and academic experience from the UK and the UAE.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Sammour served as a consultant hematologist at Prime Hospital in Dubai and previously held a substantive consultant position at Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK, where she also led the blood transfusion service.

Dr. Sammour completed her specialist hematology training through the UK’s national training program, with key appointments at the Royal Marsden Hospital and St. George’s Hospital — both renowned centers for cancer and hematologic care. While at the Royal Marsden, which is affiliated with the Institute of Cancer Research, she contributed as a sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials focused on leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Southampton and holds a master’s in Medical Ethics and Law from King’s College London. Her early postgraduate training included foundation posts at Eastbourne District General Hospital and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, followed by core medical training at King’s College Hospital in London.

Dr. Sammour is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) in hematology. She also holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), qualifying her to practice as a consultant hematologist in the UK.

She currently resides in Abu Dhabi with her husband and two children.
