Dr. Alok Azad Anand

Dr. Alok Azad Anand, MD, is Department Chair of Diagnostic Radiology in the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Anand was Chairman of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Chief Quality Officer at Eastern Connecticut Health Network and Eastern Connecticut Imaging in Manchester, Connecticut, US.

Dr. Anand received his Medical Degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, US. He completed a year of internship training in General Surgery at the North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, US and Nuclear Medicine Residency at Weill-Cornell Medical College at the New York-Presbyterian Medical Center. He then completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Richmond University Medical Center, affiliate of Mount Sinai University in New York, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Anand returned to the Northwell Hofstra University system to complete fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Long Island Jewish Hospital.

Dr. Anand has a keen interest in Medical and Imaging informatics. He holds a Certified Imaging Informatics Professional qualification from the American Board of Imaging Informatics.

Dr. Anand received dual undergraduate degrees from Brown University. Dr. Anand also holds a Master's Degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Tufts University.

Currently, Dr. Anand resides in Abu Dhabi, with his wife and two children. He enjoys running, skiing, traveling, studying languages, and cooking.
