Dr. Ksenia Stafeeva

Dr. Ksenia Stafeeva is a Staff Physician in the Ophthalmology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Surgical Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Stafeeva co-owned a highly regarded private ophthalmology practice in Las Vegas, US, where she was repeatedly named among Las Vegas Top Doctors—a peer-reviewed distinction awarded annually. She is a recognized high-volume surgeon specializing in cataract and corneal surgery, with additional expertise in ocular surface disorders and reconstructions.

Dr. Stafeeva completed all her medical training in the United States: her medical degree from Drexel University (graduating at the top of her class), ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado, and cornea fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) under the supervision of world-renowned faculty. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has published research in peer-reviewed journals, including Clinical Ophthalmology.

She previously served as an assistant professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine, where she mentored medical students and residents.

Dr. Stafeeva lives in Abu Dhabi with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys connecting with family members around the world (in the US, Russia, Canada, and Panama) and playing/watching sports—especially tennis, which she competed in at the U.S. collegiate level.
