Dr. Irem Yavuz

Dr. Irem Yavuz, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician within the Emergency Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Yavuz worked at Emirates Specialty Hospital in Dubai, UAE.

Dr. Yavuz began her medical education at the University of Montpellier Faculty of Medicine in France and earned her medical degree from Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. She completed her residency at Istanbul Bakirkoy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey, one of the most prestigious and busiest emergency medicine programs in the country. Due to the hospital’s strategic location and high patient volume, she gained extensive experience in a wide range of complex and critical emergency cases.

Throughout her training and career, Dr. Yavuz has developed strong skills in rapid decision making, procedural proficiency and multidisciplinary emergency care. She is particularly experienced in high acuity trauma, toxicology and advanced airway and resuscitation procedures.

Dr. Yavuz currently resides in Abu Dhabi with her husband and son. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and swimming.
