Dr. Gaurav Singh, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician within the Neurosurgery Department of Cleveland clinic Abu Dhabi’s Neurological Institute. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Singh worked as Consultant Neurosurgeon at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram, India. Prior to that, he was an Associate Consultant at Max Hospital, Delhi. Dr. Singh received his medical degree from King George's Medical University, Lucknow. He completed his residency in Neurosurgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi, and completed his fellowships from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Mayo Clinic, Phoenix, US. Dr. Singh is an alumnus of the prestigious AIIMS New Delhi Neurosurgery program, having joined one of the most esteemed and competitive departments in the field. He distinguished himself as an exceptional student at young age earning a notable scholarship through the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, a nationwide initiative by the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. Additionally, he qualified for the Indian National Biology Olympiad and achieved a high rank in the National Science Olympiad. Throughout his residency, he maintained an outstanding academic and surgical performance and has shared his research at various scientific conferences both in India and internationally. After completing his neurosurgical residency, he pursued a training in “Skull Base and Neurosurgery” at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California, under the guidance of the esteemed Professor Juhan Fernandez-Miranda, a leading expert in skull base neurosurgery. Dr. Singh also received training in vascular neurosurgery from Professor Michel Lawton at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Following this, he became a WFNS fellow under esteemed Professor Florian Roser at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, who is one of the most accomplished neurosurgeons worldwide. Following this he became spine fellow in Mayo Clinic Phoenix Arizona, under the guidance of Professor Jamal McClendon. Dr. Singh is proficient in all facets of neurosurgery, with particular expertise in spine skull base, neurovascular, robotic neurosurgery and endoscopic neurosurgery. Dr. Singh resides in Abu Dhabi and in his spare time he enjoys cricket and watching documentaries.
