Program Overview

The Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is a comprehensive three-year training program accredited by the Arab Board designed to provide the knowledge, skills and attitude required for a successful leadership career in both academic and clinical practice.

Our state-of-the-art hospital allows us to provide outstanding clinical training throughout the three years of fellowship and allows for our fellows to leave as the best trained cardiologists in the region. The complex cases, procedural volume, dedicated faculty, and available research opportunities at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi ensure that our fellows receive comprehensive training in all aspects of cardiovascular medicine.

The structure of our fellowship provides the opportunity for each fellow to grow personally and professionally and tailor their experience to their specific interests and goals.

Program Eligibility Criteria

Completion of the Internal Medicine Residency Program is required to join the Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program.
To be in good standing.
To have passed all the required Board examinations as per the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi regulations.
Cumulative medical school Grade Point Average (GPA) of greater than or equal to 3.0 (on a 4.0 point scale), or its equivalent.
Fulfilment of licensure requirements as set by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
Fulfilment of MEAD criteria as per the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.

Number of fellows per year: 3.
