What to Expect
Your first visit to our Survivorship Program may involve:
- Reviewing your cancer diagnosis and treatment
- Discussing long-term complications of cancer and its treatment
- Reviewing your medical and psychological needs
- Coordinating referrals to other specialists when needed
- Discussing cancer recurrence risk and strategies for monitoring your health
- Reviewing genomic information or recommending genetic testing, where applicable
- Providing lifestyle advice
- Developing a personalized follow-up care plan
- Additional evaluations may include cardiac testing, bone density scans, and targeted laboratory assessments when indicated.
