First Annual Pituitary Disease Conference – Case-based Management

Introduction

Pituitary tumors are more common than generally thought, with a prevalence of about 10% on MR imaging in the general population. At the same time, many endocrinologists and internists may not have sufficient exposure to deal confidently with a variety of pituitary disorders. If not properly treated, pituitary disorders may result in significant morbidity and lower life expectancy. This one-day program will place a heavy emphasis on case discussions to review the best strategies for evaluation and management of pituitary disorders by some of the finest experts in this field. The speakers will share their experience from interesting and/or challenging cases that they have faces. There will be ample time for discussion and questions.
