Introduction

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us at our combined meeting of Digestive Diseases Institute(DDI)and Diabetes, Obesity & Cardiovascular Diseases(DOCS)2019. Based on the individual successes of each meeting held separately last year, we are this year holding the meetings in succession. We expect that this set-up will allow us to maximize the educational and programmatic material and reach a larger audience with a greater cross-section of topics

The DDI Symposium aims to provide its participants with the latest, evidence based and state-of-the-art lectures addressing a spectrum of common and complex topics. This scientific program is specifically developed to present up to date, data driven management of a variety of conditions including medical and surgical approaches to: liver and pancreas diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal disorders, gastrointestinal oncology, colorectal disorders, metabolic and bariatric surgery, and nutritional conditions.

The DOCS Symposium will be a multidisciplinary, comprehensive conference that aims to provide participants with the newest data-driven therapies to treat obesity and metabolic diseases. The program is specifically developed to allow for the exchange of new data and treatment strategies available to address the broad-spectrum metabolic diseases associated with obesity.
