Overview

The Diagnostics Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi provides College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited Clinical and Anatomic Pathology Laboratory services to support patient care.

Our team of experienced Cytopathologists specialize in the examination of single cell types, usually found in fluid specimens. Cytopathology plays a vital role in the diagnosis and screening of patients at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. As well as diagnosing and screening for cancer, cytology can screen for fetal abnormalities, diagnose infectious organisms, screen for PAP smears, and provide many other screening and diagnostic services.
