WOUND SITE
The morning after your procedure, you may take the dressing off. The easiest way to do this is when you are showering, get the tape and dressing wet and remove it.
ACTIVITY
For the next day or so, get lots of rest. Sleep when you are feeling tired. Avoid doing tiring activities.
DIET/MEDICATION
No specific dietary change at home unless specified by the health care provider.
WHEN TO CALL CCAD AND SEEK HELP?
Experience severe headache, jaw pain, diarrhea, and vomiting (hypotension).
Increased drainage, bleeding or oozing from the puncture site;
Increased body temperature (greater than 101 degrees Fahrenheit or 38.4 degrees Celsius)
