Dr. Samer Ellahham

Dr. Samer Ellahham, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Ellahham is a Clinical Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and holds the positions of Medical Director of the Continuous Improvement Department and Physician Director of Accreditation.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ellahham served as the Chief Quality Officer and Cardiology Consultant at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Dr. Ellahham earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut and completed his residency at Georgetown University Hospital Washington Hospital Center, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. He is certified by the American Board of Cardiology.

Dr. Ellahham has received notable recognition for his work, including being awarded Physician of the Year in 2007 and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Physician of the Year in 2022.
