Dr. Ramez Borbara

Dr. Ramez Borbara, MBChB, FRCOphth, is a Staff Physician within the Ophthalmology Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Surgical Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Borbara was an Ophthalmology Consultant at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, Hadera. Before that, he was a Consultant at the Hospital for Sick Children, SICKKIDS, Toronto, Canada and at the University Hospital, Southampton, UK.

Dr. Borbara received his medical degree from the University of Leicester in the UK. He is fellowship trained from both the UK and Canada.

Dr. Borbara is an experienced ophthalmologist and has performed thousands of cataract surgeries and thousands of laser refractive surgeries. He also performs artificial corneal transplants and is a pediatric cornea specialist.
