Dr. Mohammed Megri, MD, FCCP, is a Staff Physician within the Critical Care Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.
Dr. Mohammed Megri is an American Board–certified Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, and Advanced Critical Care Echocardiography physician. He began his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Marshall University, where he distinguished himself through clinical excellence, multiple teaching and humanism awards, and was selected as Chief Resident in his final year.
He completed his Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine fellowship at the University of Kentucky, serving as Chief Fellow and developing advanced expertise in pulmonary vascular disease, mechanical ventilation, extracorporeal life support, complex ICU physiology, and critical care ultrasound. During this time, he delivered multiple invited grand rounds and national ATS/CHEST presentations and was recognized for his contributions to education.
After fellowship, Dr. Megri joined JPS Health Network / Texas Christian University as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine, where he served as Director of Respiratory Therapy and Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic. In parallel, he remained highly active with the American College of Chest Physicians, earning FCCP designation and serving on national CHEST committees including the Critical Care Network and Mechanical Ventilation Network.
