14Dr. Mohammed Aljasmi, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Critical Care Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Medical Specialty Institute.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Aljasmi worked as Assistant Professor at the Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia, US. He held the position of Staff Physician in the department of Pulmonary and Critical Care. He also held the title of Associate Program Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program where his main role was the recruitment and training of future physicians in the field of Pulmonary and Critical Care. During his time there he was indicted to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society.
Dr. Aljasmi received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain. He then completed his residency and fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, US, specializing in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He served as Chief Fellow during his final year of training.
Dr. Aljasmi resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures with his family.
