Dr. Medhat K. Soliman

Dr. Medhat Soliman, MD, MRCP (UK), is an Associate Staff Physician in the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, US.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Soliman worked as an Advanced Heart Failure Specialist at the Ministry of Health of Kuwait. He also worked as a Senior Specialist in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Doctor Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Soliman obtained his medical degree from Ain-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine with a first class honors and the first rank award. He completed his internship at the same institute. He completed his residency and fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the National Heart Institute of Egypt.

Dr. Soliman has extensive experience in advanced heart failure management. He earned the Diploma of Heart Failure Management form the British Society of Cardiology (with training in Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals), as well as the European Certification of Heart Failure Management from the European Society of Cardiology. He also earned the American Board certification in Adult Echocardiography and the European Board certification in Transthoracic Echocardiogrpahy. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians UK (MRCP UK).

Dr. Soliman is specialized in advanced heart failure management, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation. He has extensive experience and many international certificates and awards in the field of advanced heart failure and echocardiography.

Dr. Soliman is currently enrolled at St. George University, London, UK, studying a master’s degree in advanced Heart Failure Management. He has many publications in peer-reviewed journals.
