Dr. Manuelita Mazza

Dr. Manuelita Mazza, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Medical Oncology Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Cancer Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Mazza spent more than 15 years at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, Italy, where she held the position of Advanced Specialist in Breast Medical Oncology within the Division of Medical Senology. In this role, she was responsible for the management of complex breast cancer cases and the development of personalized clinical pathways.

During her time at IEO, Dr. Mazza actively contributed to the implementation of innovative models of care, with a strong focus on digital health, remote patient monitoring and integrated survivorship programs.

Dr. Mazza received her medical degree from the University of Catanzaro “Magna Graecia”, Italy. She completed her residency in Medical Oncology in Italy and pursued advanced clinical training in breast cancer and precision oncology.

Her clinical and research interests are deeply focused on patient-centered care, with particular attention to the integration of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) into routine clinical practice, aimed at improving quality of life, treatment adherence, symptom management, and long-term survivorship.

Dr. Mazza has been involved in national and international clinical trials and has contributed to scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is actively engaged in medical education and scientific dissemination.

In her personal time, Dr. Mazza enjoys reading, writing, and exploring the intersection between medicine, science, and the human experience.
