Jelal Alsubai

Dr. Jelal Alsubai, MD, FACP, is a Staff Physician within the Neurology Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Neurological Institute. He serves as a Neuro Hospitalist with a focus on inpatient neurological and internal medicine care.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Alsubai served as the Regional Division Chief of Internal Medicine at Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City and Tawam Hospital in Al Ain. He also served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Virginia, USA, and as a Hospitalist and faculty member across several institutions in the United States.

Dr. Alsubai earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Penn State University Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania, US.

He holds American Board of Internal Medicine certification and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
