Dr. Boris Tufegdzic

Dr. Boris Tufegdzic, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Anesthesiology Division of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He is also Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Tufegdzic worked as a Specialist in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at the General Hospital Gornji Milanovac, the Republic of Serbia.

Dr. Tufegdzic received his medical degree from the Medical University of Kragujevac, and completed his residency in Anesthesia at the Medical University in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia. He also holds an MBA diploma from Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain.

He has received the Scholarship of The American Austrian Foundation and was awarded the title of Primarius by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia.

Dr. Tufegdzic is skilled in many routine and advanced anesthesia procedures, with an interest in neuroanesthesia. Dr. Tufegdzic has authored over 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles, book chapters and reviews. He is also a peer reviewer of many international indexed journals in the field of anesthesiology, critical care and neurosurgery.

Dr. Tufegdzic resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two kids and in his spare time he enjoys traveling and various sports activities.
