Dr. Ahmed Shehata

Dr. Ahmed M. Shehata, MD, is Associate Staff Physician within the Hospital Medicine Department of Cleveland clinic Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute.

Prior to joining Cleveland clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shehata worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist in different medical institutes in the UAE, including Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and Burjeel Hospital.

Dr. Shehata received his medical degree from Cairo University, Egypt, then completed his residency and received his post graduate degree from Ain Shams University, Egypt.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Shehata played an active role in developing clinical practice guidelines and quality projects in his previous medical institutes

Dr. Shehata resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and sons. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football, reading and travelling.
