We have a team of expert hepatologists who are supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists from other fields. The team specializes in metabolic and genetic liver diseases, autoimmune liver disorders, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), alcohol-related liver disease, infectious liver diseases and viral hepatitis (including Hepatitis B and C). Our department is also home to the UAE’s only liver transplant center, supporting patients with liver failure or liver cancer, whose liver can no longer function properly.
