The Multidisciplinary Simulation Center - a state-of-the-art, experiential clinical training hub.
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Multidisciplinary Simulation Center is the largest, multidisciplinary, multimodality hospital simulation center in the UAE.
Our primary aim is to advance healthcare education through experiential and reflective learning, resulting in improvement of patient safety and experience.
It’s an increasingly popular healthcare training system with a focus on experiential learning, in which caregivers practice real-life clinical scenarios within a controlled environment. Responsive mannequins and virtual reality equipment are used in these scenarios to provide the most authentic patient-caregiver clinical interactions.
Caregivers practice all types of scenarios, giving them the opportunity to rehearse and perfect new, rare, complex and emergency events before being appraised.
The Simulation Center offers a range of Life Support courses, delivered by AHA (American Heart Association) certified instructors. The courses on offer cover basic and advanced life support skills and emergency cardiovascular care, as well as an Instructor course for those wanting to become an AHA recognized course instructor.

Human Patient Simulators
We use high-fidelity computerized, interactive mannequins integrated with software to replicate human physiological responses such as breathing and pulses. This allows caregivers to develop their skills in dealing with a full spectrum of clinical scenarios.
These high-tech simulators replicate specific parts and systems of the human body and are used for simulating procedures and surgery. They give instant haptic and performance feedback based on real-life reactions.
Low-tech simulators such as IV task trainers, basic mannequins, airway trainers, and heart and lung sound trainers are used to break down physical tasks and procedures into a series of steps for competency training.
The Multidisciplinary Simulation Center mirrors the hospital setting to provide an authentic environment for trainees.
The 24,000 sq. ft. center features state-of-the-art audiovisual systems for capturing and reflecting experiential learning, as well as a suite of training rooms which include:
Emergency resuscitation room
Intensive care unit
