Massimo Lamperti, MD, is the institute chair of the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Dr. Lamperti brings wide experience in anesthesia and critical care.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Lamperti worked as a consultant anesthesiologist at National Neurological Institute Besta, a quaternary neurological center in Milan, Italy. He completed his fellowships in the US and UK. His main clinical field is neuro-anesthesia and critical care in acute brain injured patients. In the last ten years, he became one of the main researchers in the field of point-of-care ultrasound in critically ill patients and developed an international training course for ultrasound-guided insertion of vascular accesses.
Dr. Lamperti is a peer reviewer of many international indexed journals in the field of anesthesiology, critical care, pediatrics, and neurosurgery.
Dr. Lamperti lives in Abu Dhabi with his family and enjoys running marathons in his free time.
