Reports of the full-body MRI scan are AI generated with images interpreted by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi radiologists, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and seamless patient experience. Your report will be completed on the same day or within 24 hours.

Please note:

• Other than in respect of the initial radiologist-led interpretation prior to delivery of your report, no further physician review or follow-up is included in this offer. All discussions about your report’s content should be conducted with a physician at your own cost and arrangement. We recommend that all reports are reviewed in consultation with your physician within 30 days following receipt. Our team can assist with arranging a follow-up consultation at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi if preferred.
• Please consult a healthcare professional and do not interpret imaging results in isolation.
• This scan provides an overview of your health but does not replace diagnostic imaging for specific symptoms. The scan may not detect all cancers and consequently does not replace standard approved cancer screenings.
• The package price is not reimbursable by insurance companies. Patients are advised to check with their insurance provider regarding coverage for any follow-up consultations or additional care. Appointments are limited, and advance booking is recommended.
• All patients are required to complete an informed consent and to answer certain clinical safety questions immediately prior to their scan. On occasion, this may exclude proceeding with the scan if your circumstances are such that the clinical team determines that it is not safe to continue with your scan.

Payment & cancellation policy: Full payment is required in advance via the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Patient Portal to confirm your appointment. Appointments are only confirmed once payment has been received, failure to complete payment may result in your appointment slot being released. No-shows or cancellations are non-refundable.

What is a full-body MRI?

A full-body MRI is a non-invasive imaging scan that captures detailed images of internal organs, tissues and musculoskeletal systems to help identify potential health issues early, even before symptoms appear.

The scan is safe, painless and does not involve radiation or the use of intravenous contrast.

The scan includes:

• Brain
• Neck
• Paranasal sinuses
• Chest
• Abdomen
• Pelvis
• Cervical spine
• Thoracic spine
• Lumbar spine
• Overview of large joints
• Whole body diffusion-weighted imaging
• Whole body review of muscles and tendons

This scan provides an overview of your health but does not replace diagnostic imaging for specific symptoms. The scan may not detect all cancers (e.g., in the lungs, breast or gut) and consequently does not replace standard approved cancer screening such as low-dose CT chest, mammogram or colonoscopy. Any finding noted on the report should be discussed with a healthcare professional. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will be pleased to assist you in arranging any follow-ups at your request.

MRI: What to Expect

Before your scan:

• No fasting required (subject to clinical confirmation)
• Remove metal items
• Wear comfortable clothing

During the scan:

• You will lie comfortably in the closed MRI scanner
• The scan takes approximately 40 minutes
• Ear protection is provided
• You can communicate with the technologist at any time

After the scan:

• Resume normal activities immediately
• No recovery time needed

Results:

Your images will be reviewed by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi radiology specialists before a medical report is provided to you within 24 hours. Your report can be viewed through the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Patient Portal. We recommend that all reports are reviewed by, and in consultation with, a physician within 30 days of receipt. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will be pleased to assist you in arranging a follow-up at your request.

This scan is intended for general screening and detection purposes only, not emergency or specific diagnosis.
