Diagnosing Malnutrition Symposium

Introduction

Day one of the symposium will provide an opportunity to learn the current adult malnutrition diagnosis guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics/American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. Participants will also learn about the principles of performing a nutrition focused physical examination (NFPE).
Day two will provide a unique opportunity to learn and develop the skills to perform a NFPE in our Simulation Center with hands-on stations using trained volunteers and the support of our experienced Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi dietitians.
