Siarhei Kastsiuchenka, MD, is a Clinical Associate in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he was Chief of the Anesthesiology and Critical Care Department at the Minsk Regional Clinical Hospital in the Republic of Belarus.
Dr. Kastsiuchenka has also served as Anesthesia Residency Program Director at the Minsk Regional Clinical Hospital, a lecturer for the Committee for European Education in Anesthesiology, and a lecturer at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Organ and Tissue Transplantation in Minsk, Belarus.
Dr. Kastsiuchenka earned his medical degree from Grodno State Medical University, Grodno, Belarus, where he also completed his residency in anesthesia, and is certified by the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates in Philadelphia, US. He is one of the examiners for the European Diploma in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, as well as holding the diploma himself, was one of the authors of the Belarus national guidelines for intensive care, and has published a number of papers in national and international journals.
