"Welcome to the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. We are committed to making sure people with cardiovascular and thoracic diseases receive the best, most appropriate individualized care, from prevention and education to acute care and rehabilitation.

We are a collaborative group of cardiologists and surgeons working together on all care decisions, to treat patients in an integrated, multidisciplinary team approach. We also provide cutting-edge treatment for a wide variety of lung and esophageal diseases in our multidisciplinary Thoracic Surgery Program.

As an academic center, we are dedicated to research and education, and offer a number of educational and training opportunities across multiple cardiology subspecialties, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. Our training programs are designed for medical professionals from undergraduate and graduate level to practicing physicians and surgeons, and we are also actively engaged in a broad range of clinical and research activities."
