18Dr. Ryan J. Cormier, MD, is Department Chair and Consultant in the Emergency Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Cormier was a staff physician for nearly 10 years at the South Health Campus Hospital in Calgary, Canada.
Dr. Cormier has received several awards for outstanding teaching from the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine and has been nominated numerous times for Clinician of the Year at his previous hospital of South Health Campus.
Dr. Cormier received his medical degree from the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. He completed his residency training in both Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada.
Dr. Cormier resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and 3 sons. He enjoys running, travelling, spending time with his family and friends and collecting air miles.
