Guirgis Gabra, MD, is a Clinical Associate in the Heart & Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Gabra earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University in Egypt, and was a GP until he undertook his cardiology residency in 2003. Following, he continued his medical education at Ain Shams University in Cairo, earning his Masters in Cardiology.
Dr. Gabra has a number of years of experience in the Middle East and in Canada. He participated in a new Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant (AHFT) program in Kuwait that started in 2010, following up both advanced heart failure including LVAD, and post cardiac transplant inpatients and outpatients. He also has an extensive experience in Transthoracic Echocardiography under the supervision of McGill University in Montreal, Canada, as well as Transoesophageal Echo (TEE), Stress Echo (exercise or pharmacological), Treadmill ETT & Holter Monitoring Interpretation.
In 2014, Dr.Gabra participated in the postgraduate excellence program on Acute Coronary Syndrome at Boston University, Massachusetts, US.
