Dr. Rafik Banoub

Dr. Rafik Banoub, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. 

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Banoub worked as Staff Physician in the Anesthesia Department at Al Salama Hospital, Abu Dhabi.  

Dr. Banoub received his medical and master's degrees from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt and completed his internship and residency at Ain Shams University Hospitals, Cairo, Egypt. 
Throughout his tenure, Dr. Banoub has been actively involved in teaching and training medical students and residents within the anesthesia department in Ain Shams University hospitals. He is a faculty member in the Anesthesia department of Ain Shams University in Egypt.

Dr. Banoub is a member of the Egyptian Society of Anesthesia and of the Egyptian Society of Critical care. He is also a Residency Program Tutor in Critical Care for the Egyptian Ministry of Health.

Currently, Dr. Banoub resides in Abu Dhabi, with his wife and two children. When he's not working at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Atalla enjoys family time, reading and travelling.
