World Heart Day Health Fair at Cycle For Health UAE

Introduction

Head down to Zayed Sports Stadium on September 30 and join Cycle for Health UAE, presented by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Health Authority – Abu Dhabi in partnership with Healthpoint and Imperial College London Diabetes Center.

To be held on the last Saturday of every month until next May, the first Cycle for Health UAE session will be all about “Love Your Heart” for World Heart Day.

Cycling is a fun and healthy way to get the whole family involved in exercise to reduce the risk of chronic illnesses, such as cardiovascular disease (CVD), which is the leading cause of death in the UAE. And here’s your chance to do your bit for World Heart Day and pledge to “Love Your Heart” by pedaling your way to heart health.

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will be hosting health screenings, exercise information sessions and healthy heart cooking demonstrations, while other fun activities include a learn-to-ride program, bouncy castles, and a healthy food truck. And don’t worry if you don’t have a bike; Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will also be providing complimentary bikes and helmets for participants – but you’ll have to register first.

Parking: Parking is available, free of charge, outside the Zayed Sports City stadium.
