Multiple Sclerosis Webinar: Addressing Secondary Progressive MS

Introduction

World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day is a global observance that aims to bring the global MS community together. The theme for this year’s event is ‘connection’, with organisers aiming to build connection between the MS community, connect patients with quality care, and connect the public with awareness activities.

Supporting this theme, experts from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Multiple Sclerosis Program will host an educational webinar for MS patients and their families. The event aims to look in detail at secondary progressive MS – a second phase of the disease for many people who have experienced relapsing-remitting MS.

Experts from the Multiple Sclerosis Program will explore the latest medical and non-medical strategies available to delay and treat the condition and will discuss how to manage symptoms effectively.

The session will feature a presentation from the UAE’s MS Society, highlighting activities taking place around this year’s global awareness day, and will also feature a live Q&A session where audience members can ask their questions directly to our panel of experts.
