Melissa Li-Ng, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Li-Ng worked with the Endocrinology and Metabolism Institute of Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, where she was involved in medical education activities with medical students, residents and fellows. She served as the Associate Program Director of the Endocrinology Fellowship Program for three years before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Li-Ng has published and presented research and case studies on a variety of endocrine conditions. Her clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid disease, thyroid cancer, pituitary disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome, metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency, parathyroid gland disease, and adrenal gland disorders.
Dr. Li-Ng completed a research fellowship at the Bone Mineral Research Center at Winthrop University Hospital in New York, carrying out research on osteoporosis, vitamin D and bone metabolism. Dr. Li-Ng then completed her Endocrinology Fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Li-Ng received her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York. She completed her medical residency at New York University Medical Center.
