Dr. Rashmi T.M. Kattookaren

Dr. Rashmi T. M. Kattookaren, MBBS, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Primary Care Department of the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Kattookaren served as Internal Medicine Specialist in LLH Hospital and Universal Hospital in the UAE. 

Dr. Kattookaren received her medical degree and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Father Muller Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India. After her residency, she was actively involved in medical education as Assistant Professor in the same university. 

Dr. Kattookaren holds a Specialty Certificate in Endocrinology and Diabetes from the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK and she is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK.

Dr. Kattookaren holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics from The National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India and she is an AHA certified instructor in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Dr. Kattookaren resides in Abu Dhabi with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
