Dr. Andrei Minou

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Minou was Chief of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantation and Hematology in Minsk, Belarus.

Dr. Minou received his medical degree from Belarussian State Medical University, Minsk, Belarus. He completed his residency in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the same university. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Minou has been actively involved in the teaching and training of residents. He has been a regular faculty member at national and international meetings and has lectured on patient blood management and perioperative care for obese patients.

Throughout his tenure, Dr. Minou has specialized in anesthesia for liver transplant. He has compled over 700 cases and he provided anesthesia for the first ever liver transplants performed in Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia. His area of particular clinical interest is the management of coagulopathy in liver disease.

Dr. Minou resides in Abu Dhabi with his family and enjoys playing basketball in his free time.
