Our Recruitment Process

The recruitment process at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi starts with your online application. If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to participate in a screening & assessment process which consists of:

  • Initial assessment
  • Written English test
  • Competency-based panel interview.

Please note that the duration of the process will depend on your success at each stage of the assessment.

I have found a position that matches my qualifications and interests. What do I do next?
The “Apply Now” button next to each job posting takes you through the application process step-by-step, and you will be asked to fill in your personal contact details, educational background and work experience. You will be requested to attach your CV/resume and cover letter. Any other relevant documents can be attached as well.

This is the first time I’m applying for a job with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. What do I need to know?
If you have not applied on the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi career website through this system before, you will need to register with us first.

How is my application evaluated?
We evaluate the qualifications of the applicant and compare these with the requirements of the job, with the goal of finding the most suitable candidate. We take all available input into consideration in order to reach the final hiring decision. The resume, cover letter, references, interview outcomes, and assessment result are all evaluated.

When can I expect to receive feedback on my application?
We try to get back to successful applicants within a few days, but please bear with us if it takes a little longer to respond. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are only able to provide individual feedback to those selected to move forward in the application process.

What happens if I’m invited for a first interview?
The purpose of the first interview is to develop a proper understanding of your personal qualities and skills. We want to know what drives and motivates you. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about us and our culture, so that we can jointly evaluate how you would thrive within our organization. During the interview, you will also receive feedback on the assessments which you have completed. The first interview is usually conducted by one of our HR professionals.

What happens at a second interview?
In the second interview, you will have the opportunity to meet the manager of the position for which you have applied. In some cases, the interview may be with managers from several departments. The managers you meet will be interested in hearing more about you as a person, as well as your professional achievements and ambitions, and how you see yourself in the role for which you’ve applied.

Do you charge any application fee or other fees?
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process, including application, processing or training stages. Please note that any vacancy announcements or offer letters in our name which request payments of any kind are are not issued by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. If you are requested to make a payment at any point in the process, please notify us. You can provide us the details of the concerned person and/or the website through our contact form.
