Dr. Goutham Vijayan

Dr. Goutham Vijayan, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician within Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Anesthesiology Institute. Dr. Vijayan is an anesthesiology specialist and has been an active team member in the liver and kidney transplant anesthesiology team, since the program commenced at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Vijayan worked in various institutes across the UAE and has been specializing in anesthesiology since 2011.

Dr. Vijayan received his medical degree from Kasthurba Medical College, Manipal University, India. 

Dr. Vijayan has vast experience in transplant anesthesiology, predominantly for liver, kidney and pancreas transplant patients. He also provides anesthesiology for major hepatobiliary and urology surgeries. 

Currently, Dr. Vijayan resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two children. When he’s not working at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he enjoys music, singing, table tennis, badminton and touring places.
